Paroled Serial Sex Offender Arrested for Lewd Conduct in Burbank Stores

Calese Carron Crowder, a 38-year-old registered sex offender from Glendale, was arrested again in Burbank, California, for allegedly sniffing a woman's buttocks at a Nordstrom Rack store within the Empire Center. Police used store surveillance footage to track Crowder's movements, observing him following a female customer and crouching behind her before engaging in lewd behavior. Crowder was apprehended shortly after at a nearby Walmart in the same shopping center, where he was also reportedly seen sniffing women. He has a documented history of similar offenses dating back to 2021, including previous arrests for indecent exposure, peeping, and prowling, and was on active parole at the time of this latest arrest. Crowder first gained widespread attention in August 2023 when a viral TikTok showed him committing similar acts at a Barnes & Noble in Burbank, prompting multiple women to come forward with related complaints. He is currently charged with loitering with intent to commit a crime, held on $100,000 bail, and scheduled to appear in court on August 1.
