Glasgow 2026 Appoints Trivandi for Major Games Delivery

Trivandi, a global leader in major event delivery, has been appointed as the official event delivery partner for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, scheduled from July 23 to August 2, 2026. Trivandi will be responsible for overlay and venue operations at Glasgow's key sports facilities, transforming them into Commonwealth Games-ready venues, with a focus on sustainability and inclusivity. Central to the approach is a 'One Team' model that integrates international specialists within the Glasgow 2026 organising company and commits to recruiting 250 workforce roles, primarily from Glasgow and nearby areas, including unemployed residents, students, and people with accessibility needs. The Trivandi Academy will provide local talent with internationally recognized qualifications, fostering career pathways in event management and supporting Scotland's capacity to host major events. Trivandi's sustainability arm, The Bulb, will ensure venue transformations prioritize reuse, energy efficiency, and minimal environmental impact, aligning with the Games' goal to set a new benchmark for future Commonwealth Games. Additionally, the partnership aims to maximize local employment benefits and provide Scottish businesses with global exposure and export opportunities, building on the legacy of the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
