Graduations Highlight Resilience and Diversity Nationwide

Graduation ceremonies across the United States in May 2025 celebrated resilience, diversity, and achievement, with students from various backgrounds marking significant milestones. At Peoria High School, graduates enjoyed a festive atmosphere as they completed their high school journey. Manhattanville University’s commencement featured the inspiring story of Irving Escobar, who overcame personal tragedy to earn a nursing degree. Del Mar College in Corpus Christi graduated over 700 students from diverse disciplines, reflecting strong commitment to education. Fort Riley honored military members and families balancing service, work, and studies to earn degrees from partner institutions. Eastern Florida State College recognized a record number of bachelor’s degree recipients and included unique moments such as a service dog graduating with its owner.
