Muchova Advances to US Open Semifinals

Following a 10-month hiatus due to wrist surgery, Muchova returned to competitive play in June and has made a remarkable comeback. She will face either world number one Iga Swiatek or American Jessica Pegula in the semifinals. Muchova's victory over Haddad Maia included multiple medical breaks, but she managed to maintain her form and finish strong.
