Adrián Beltré, a Hall of Famer and former Texas Rangers third baseman, will be honored with a bronze statue outside Globe Life Field in 2025, joining Nolan Ryan and Ivan Rodriguez as Rangers players with statues. The announcement was made during a series of events celebrating Beltré's career, including an on-field ceremony and the unveiling of an exhibit dedicated to his career at the stadium. Beltré's actual Hall of Fame plaque, which is rarely moved from Cooperstown, was also displayed at the ballpark. During his speech, Beltré expressed gratitude for his career, teammates, and fans. The celebrations culminated with a ceremonial 'double play turn' featuring former teammate Elvis Andrus and a presentation of a cowboy hat by fellow Dominican José Leclerc. Beltré spent eight of his 21 MLB seasons with the Rangers and retired in 2018.
