Toyota Kirloskar, Global Sales and Green Initiatives Up

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported a 5% year-on-year sales increase in June 2025, with 28,869 units sold, including 26,453 domestic and 2,416 exported. For the first half of 2025, TKM achieved 16% growth, totaling 174,885 units, driven by strong demand for SUVs, MPVs, and hybrid models like the Innova HyCross and Fortuner. The company launched new 'Neo Drive' variants of the Fortuner and Legender, featuring a 48-Volt system to boost fuel efficiency and performance. TKM signed an MoU with Ohmium International to explore green hydrogen-driven power solutions for data centers and remote locations. The Innova Hycross received a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating, underscoring Toyota's commitment to safety and innovation. Globally, Toyota Motor Corporation reported a 7.5% sales increase in May 2025 and a 21% rise in electrified vehicle sales year-to-date.
