Music Industry Donates $1 Million for LA Fire Relief

In response to the devastating wildfires ravaging Los Angeles, the Warner Music Group/Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund has pledged $1 million to support fire relief and rebuilding efforts, targeting assistance for local first responders and those in the music industry affected by the disaster. Concurrently, the Recording Academy and MusiCares have also announced a combined pledge of $1 million to launch the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort, specifically focusing on aiding music professionals impacted by the crisis. With approximately 180,000 residents displaced and significant destruction recorded, including over 9,000 structures lost, both organizations emphasize the urgent need for community support. MusiCares is committed to providing both short-term and long-term assistance to those affected, urging the broader music industry to contribute to relief efforts.
