Netflix Upgrades Moments Feature for Custom Clip Sharing

Netflix has updated its Moments feature, originally launched last year, to allow users to create precise clips by setting both start and end points for scenes on mobile devices. This enhancement enables clips up to two minutes long that can be saved in the My Netflix tab for later viewing or sharing via social media and messaging apps. The update coincides with the release of Part 2 of Wednesday Season 2, which includes Lady Gaga's debut as Rosaline Rotwood, expected to generate notable clip-sharing activity. Users can activate the feature by tapping the Clip button during playback on Android and iOS devices, making it easier to share favorite moments from thousands of titles. This new clip functionality is part of a broader push by Netflix to improve its mobile experience, including a vertical feed and upcoming AI-powered search. The feature cannot be used with live events, trailers, downloads, or Netflix games.
