Grandfather Killed in Houston McDonald's Shootout

Jorge Arbaiza, a 61-year-old grandfather, was tragically killed in a shootout at a McDonald's in Houston while purchasing Happy Meals for his grandchildren. The incident, described by Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez as 'senseless', occurred when a gunfight broke out between two groups of men inside the restaurant. Arbaiza's wife, Teresa, witnessed the chaos from their car with the grandchildren and recalled hearing his last words, 'I'm dying. I'm going to die.' Arbaiza was airlifted to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Antoine Ridge, a 24-year-old involved in the altercation, has been charged with murder in connection to Arbaiza's death. The local McDonald's owner expressed condolences and is cooperating with the police investigation.
