Ben Folds Announces First Christmas Album

Ben Folds is set to release his first-ever Christmas album, titled 'Sleigher', on October 25th, featuring seven original songs and three classic covers, including 'The Christmas Song'. In a reflection on the holiday season, Folds described Christmas as a constant that prompts introspection and personal growth, allowing one to assess their journey over the years. The album includes a duet with Lindsey Kraft, titled 'We Could Have This', showcasing a blend of nostalgia and originality. Folds initially considered primarily covering existing holiday songs but was inspired to create new material, resulting in this unique collection. The album is available for pre-order, with two tracks already released for streaming. Folds is also currently on his 'Paper Airplane Request Tour', extending through mid-December.
