Kendall Guervil, a four-star defensive lineman ranked No. 12 at his position and No. 77 overall in the 2026 class by 247Sports, has committed to the University of Florida over Texas and Florida State. Guervil, from Fort Myers High School, measures 6-foot-4.5 and 315 pounds, and is known for his power, quickness, and ability to disrupt offensive lines. A significant NIL offer and an official family visit to Florida shifted his recruitment, helping the Gators overtake Texas, which had previously led. Florida's defensive line coach Gerald Chatman was pivotal in securing Guervil's commitment.
