A 48-year-old man named Karl Haglund was arrested at Colorado's Folsom Field after allegedly driving his truck onto the field, following multiple hit-and-run incidents around the University of Colorado campus. Police, alerted to the situation, surrounded Haglund's truck and took him into custody on nine charges, including criminal attempt of vehicular assault and trespassing. The incident prompted a campus-wide emergency alert and a heavy police presence, but no injuries were reported. Social media showed images of the damaged truck on the field, and while the grounds crew was notified, there will not be an urgent need for repairs since the Colorado team is away this weekend. The police have since confirmed that the scene is secure and have advised the community to continue avoiding the area as investigations proceed. This arrest comes just before the Rocky Mountain Showdown, a significant football game between the University of Colorado and Colorado State University.
