Titan Capital has successfully closed its Winners Fund at Rs 333 crore (approximately $40 million), expanding from an initial Rs 200 crore raised in August 2024. The fund, led by Snapdeal co-founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, will focus on follow-on investments in around 20 existing portfolio companies, with an average cheque size of Rs 15 crore. This strategic shift indicates a renewed confidence in their previously selected startups, with notable investments already made in AI platform Convin, eco-friendly brand Beco, and SaaS company Simplismart. The firm has had significant exits from prior investments in companies like Urban Company and Mamaearth, further solidifying its reputation in the venture capital landscape. Titan Capital also recently launched an index called Indicorns, highlighting profitable startups with revenues exceeding Rs 100 crore. Through its operations since 2011, Titan has invested in over 280 startups across various sectors, including consumer internet and fintech.
