US, Global Cities Announce Major Park Upgrades

Communities in the U.S. and abroad are investing in major recreational infrastructure upgrades. In Ohio and Wisconsin, new pickleball courts have been launched in Weathersfield and Plover, funded by local and federal sources for greater accessibility. Vancouver, WA's Oakbrook Park is being expanded with themed playgrounds and pickleball courts as part of its reclassification as a community park. Sportsman's Park in Bingham County, Idaho, will undergo a $2 million upgrade to improve boat access, parking, and walking paths. Gurgaon, India, is modernizing 12 parks in DLF City with new walking tracks, play areas, lighting, and green zones to foster safer, more inclusive spaces.
