Couch, who injured five people during the shooting on September 7, was found with articles and a weapon that led investigators to identify the body as his. The discovery was made by two state troopers and civilians, Fred and Sheila McCoy, who were drawn to the location by circling vultures and a strong odor. This brings closure to a 12-day search that involved multiple law enforcement agencies. The McCoys are set to receive a $25,000 reward for their assistance. DNA testing is underway to confirm the body's identity, but officials are confident in their preliminary identification.
