Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Announces 2026 Class Featuring Candace Parker, Elena Delle Donne

The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2026 inductees, featuring eight distinguished figures including players, coaches, and a media contributor. Headlining the class are two-time WNBA MVP Candace Parker, three-time WNBA champion and 2019 MVP Elena Delle Donne, French star Isabelle Fijalkowski, and Spanish player Amaya Valdemoro. Notable coaches inducted include Cheryl Reeve, a four-time WNBA Coach of the Year with the Minnesota Lynx, Kirkwood Community College's Kim Muhl, and posthumous honoree Barbara Kennedy-Dixon, a Clemson standout with record-setting collegiate achievements. The formal induction ceremony is scheduled for June 27, 2026, at the Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville. In a related tribute, the University of Michigan announced plans to honor three of its women's basketball greats by raising their jerseys to the rafters, celebrating the legacies of Diane Dietz, Katelynn Flaherty Yates, and Naz Hillmon.
