Veteran Actor Harris Yulin Dies at 87
Veteran actor Harris Yulin died of cardiac arrest in New York City at age 87. Over a career spanning six decades, Yulin amassed nearly 140 credits in film, television, and theater, including roles in 'Scarface,' 'Ghostbusters II,' 'Clear and Present Danger,' 'Training Day,' and TV series such as 'Frasier' (which earned him an Emmy nomination), 'Ozark,' '24,' and 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer.' He was also celebrated for his Broadway performances and for teaching at institutions like Juilliard. At the time of his death, Yulin was preparing to begin work on the MGM+ series 'American Classic' with Laura Linney and Kevin Kline. He is survived by his wife Kristen Lowman and extended family, and was widely praised by collaborators as one of the greatest artists of his generation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
