Wolves Lose Fourth Straight Game to Monsters 3-2

The Chicago Wolves lost 3-2 to the Cleveland Monsters, concluding a tough homestand with four consecutive losses. Goals from Josiah Slavin and Skyler Brind’Amour were not enough to secure a win, as the Wolves fell behind after the Monsters scored two quick goals late in the second period. Slavin scored the Wolves' first goal with a backhand shot, while Brind’Amour added a second goal in the third period, but the team could not equalize. Spencer Martin was in goal for the Wolves, making 19 saves, while Zach Sawchenko secured the win for Cleveland with 23 saves. With this defeat, the Wolves' record stands at 24-20-2-0, while the Monsters improve to 26-14-4-4. The Wolves will host the Milwaukee Admirals next Thursday at the Allstate Arena.
