Fabric Nightclub Sign to Feature in London Museum

The London Museum, set to reopen in 2026, will feature a sign from the iconic nightclub Fabric as part of its 'Hanging Out' installation, which celebrates community gathering spots across London. The sign, made for Fabric's 20th anniversary in 2019, will be displayed in the museum located in the renovated Smithfield Market, just down the street from the club. This donation is part of a unique partnership, marking Fabric as the museum's first-ever nightclub-in-residence, announced in 2022. Fabric co-founder Cameron Leslie expressed excitement about the recognition of the club's community role as they prepare for their 25th anniversary. The museum continues to seek additional signs from various local venues to enhance the exhibition. Senior curator Beatrice Behlen emphasized Fabric's importance in the cultural landscape of Smithfield.
