Man Dies After Van Hits Parked HGV on A6 Near Garstang

A man in his 30s died after his Volkswagen van crashed into a parked HGV tractor unit on the A6 near the Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre in Garstang in the early hours of July 1. The crash occurred shortly before 4 a.m., and while the van driver suffered serious injuries and later died, the HGV driver sustained only minor injuries.
