Three Arrested for Decade-Long Foster Child Abuse

Three Victorville family members—Kenneth Key, Tina Key, and their daughter Katlynn Key—have been arrested and charged with multiple felony counts, including torture and child abuse, after authorities uncovered the severe, prolonged abuse of six foster children aged 4 to 16 in their care. The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office and Sheriff’s Department reported that the alleged abuse, which may have continued for up to a decade, featured daily beatings, strangulation, and deprivation of food and water. The investigation began in February 2025 following a tip, and the children were immediately removed from the home. Neighbors described the children as highly isolated and rarely seen outside. All three suspects are being held on $1 million bail each and are scheduled to appear in court.
