Oliver Oakes has been appointed as the new team principal of Alpine, replacing Bruno Famin, who will continue overseeing Renault's motorsport activities. At 36 years old, Oakes becomes the youngest current team principal in Formula 1 and the second-youngest in the sport's history. He previously founded Hitech Grand Prix, competing in various junior series, and has a background in racing, including being a former World Karting champion.
