The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued various weather alerts across India due to ongoing and upcoming rainfall. Delhi and NCR will experience rainfall due to a depression from Cyclone Yagi, with a yellow alert issued for Wednesday. Heavy rainfall alerts have been issued in parts of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Jharkhand has experienced heavy rainfall, with an orange alert in place for certain districts and damage to infrastructure and crops reported. Intermittent showers are expected in Mumbai and Kolkata until late September. The IMD has also predicted heavy rain in Uttarakhand, Odisha, Assam, and Meghalaya in the coming days.
