Kirk Franklin Partners Insignia Assets Becomes Chief Creative Services
Gospel icon Kirk Franklin has partnered with Insignia Assets, an entertainment venture founded by Norman Gyamfi and Jonathan Jay, to combine his companies Fo Yo Soul Recordings and CLTRE Lab with Insignia's portfolio covering music, publishing, television, film, touring, and events. Franklin will also take on the role of Chief of Creative Services at Insignia Assets. The partnership aims to create a platform that amplifies stories, faith, and culture across multiple media, pushing gospel music beyond traditional boundaries. To launch this collaboration, Franklin is releasing a new single titled "Do It Again" on June 6 and will host a new dinner conversation series, Den of Kings, premiering on his YouTube channel on Father's Day, June 15, with the first episode focusing on fatherhood. Under the agreement, Insignia’s 3 Diamonds Entertainment will produce select scripted and non-scripted projects for CLTRE Lab, providing production services and funding to support original storytelling. Norman Gyamfi highlighted their ongoing work with Franklin, including producing his multi-GRAMMY-winning album Kingdom and consecutive sold-out arena tours.
