The lawsuit stems from allegations that he and his partners vacated their Springdale, Arkansas location in July 2023, violating their lease agreement. King attempted to contest the initial judgment, claiming that communication with the landlord was ineffective, but this effort resulted in an increased liability. The landlord, Hillcrest Holdings, LLC, accuses the restaurant owners of breaching the lease by failing to make payments and of causing damage to the property. Despite their claims, the court ruled against King, ordering the payment for the outstanding rent. The Duggar family has remained largely silent on the legal issues surrounding Dillon's business troubles.
