Mother Dies Five Injured in Victoria Mother's Day Crash

A tragic two-car collision on Mother's Day at the intersection of North Canal Road and Willow Grove Road in Trafalgar, Victoria, resulted in the death of a 49-year-old woman and left five others seriously injured. Police believe the crash was caused when one vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign, leading to a collision in the middle of the intersection, after which one car rolled down an embankment and landed on its roof. The deceased woman, believed to be a mother, was a passenger in the car with her husband and two children, all of whom sustained serious injuries and were flown to the hospital. The driver of the second vehicle suffered minor injuries while his passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
