Police Scotland Arrests Reach 44 in Glasgow, Edinburgh Gang War Probe

Police Scotland has made two additional arrests as part of an ongoing investigation into violent gang incidents across central Scotland, bringing the total number of arrests to 44. A 25-year-old man was charged following the recovery of a firearm in the Roseburn Path area of Edinburgh, while a 22-year-old man was charged in connection with a vehicle fire-raising incident in Edinburgh. Additionally, a 21-year-old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for wilful fire-raisings at properties in Glasgow and Shotts. The Specialist Crime Division, supported by local police, continues to pursue multiple lines of inquiry and conduct intelligence-led patrols to gather evidence and reassure the public. Detective Chief Superintendent Dave Ferry emphasized the importance of community support and urged anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
