Serena Sundell Drafted by Seattle Storm

Kansas State guard Serena Sundell was selected by the Seattle Storm with the 26th overall pick in the third round of the 2025 WNBA Draft. Sundell, who hails from Maryville, Missouri, had an impressive college career, leading the nation in assists with an average of 7.28 per game and scoring 14.1 points per game. Her achievements include being named a WBCA and AP All-America honorable mention and receiving an invitation to the WNBA Draft in New York. The Seattle Storm, coached by Noelle Quinn, finished fifth in the WNBA in 2024. Sundell's selection follows her participation in the Wildcats' first Sweet 16 appearance since 2002, highlighting her growth and performance over four years at Kansas State.
