SpaceX Crew-9 Launch Delayed Due to Storm

NASA and SpaceX have delayed the launch of the Crew-9 mission to the International Space Station due to Tropical Storm Helene, which is expected to bring high winds and heavy rain to the Cape Canaveral region. The launch, originally set for September 26, has now been rescheduled to September 28. The Crew-9 mission, part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, will carry NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov to the ISS. This launch will be the first human spaceflight from Space Launch Complex 40. Additionally, SpaceX announced plans to launch five uncrewed Starships to Mars within two years, with potential for crewed missions four years later.
