Clovis Police Seize Tesla Linked to Caleb Quick Murder

Clovis police have seized a newer-model white Tesla from a Fresno neighborhood, believed to be connected to the murder of 18-year-old Caleb Quick, who was fatally shot outside a McDonald's on April 23. Surveillance footage shows the suspect, described as a light-skinned Hispanic or white male, stalking Quick inside the restaurant before following him outside and shooting him in a targeted attack. After the shooting, the suspect fled towards Fresno, where a 2024 white Tesla was reportedly waiting as a getaway car. The Tesla was found and towed from a garage about a mile from the crime scene after police served a search warrant, though no arrests have been made and police have not confirmed if the search warrant is directly linked to the murder. The reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest has doubled to $40,000. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to seek public assistance.
