Indiana Arrests, Alabama Raids in Massage Parlor Probes

Two coordinated, multi‑agency investigations targeted massage parlors suspected as fronts for prostitution and human trafficking — one in Tuscaloosa County and a separate 14‑month Indiana State Police‑led operation across central Indiana. In Tuscaloosa, the West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force executed search warrants Oct. 15 at three massage parlors and a residence on Skyland Boulevard, Hargrove Road East and McFarland Boulevard in Northport, with assistance from city and county departments, university analysts and counselors from Trafficking Hope; specific addresses will be released after the investigation is complete. In central Indiana, authorities executed simultaneous search and arrest warrants in Kokomo, Indianapolis, Noblesville and Carmel, arresting Yanyan Zhao (35), Xingchen Li (36) and Hui Li (56) on charges including corrupt business influence and promoting prostitution; all three were booked into the Howard County Jail. Investigators recovered one adult victim in the Indiana operation, who is receiving shelter and services from the Department of Homeland Security and state trafficking assistance programs.
