Minecraft Introduces Creaking Mob and Pale Garden

Mojang Studios has announced the upcoming addition of a new mob called the Creaking and a new biome named the Pale Garden in Minecraft, set to be revealed at the Minecraft Live 2024 event on September 28. The Creaking is a hostile mob reminiscent of SCP 173, which only moves when players are not looking directly at it. To defeat the Creaking, players must destroy its source, known as the Creaking heart, while maintaining eye contact to avoid being attacked. The Pale Garden biome, characterized by its desaturated colors and unique tree textures, will also feature new wood types. Both the mob and biome aim to enhance the horror elements of the game, with additional cosmetic features like the “Terrified” emote and themed masks. Recent leaks ahead of the event have provided glimpses of these features, sparking much anticipation among the community.
