Seeker Music Acquires Stake in Joan Jett's Catalog

Joan Jett and her independent entertainment company, Blackheart, have formed a partnership with Seeker Music, led by Evan Bogart, to enhance Jett's music catalog. The deal grants Seeker a substantial share of both the publishing and recorded music rights to Jett’s iconic songs, including hits like 'Bad Reputation' and 'I Love Rock 'n' Roll'. Plans are underway for releasing unreleased tracks, reissuing classic albums, and launching new promotional campaigns tied to Jett's tours. The collaboration is particularly meaningful as it connects two rock legacies: Bogart is the son of the late Neil Bogart, who signed Jett in her early career. Both Jett and Bogart expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing its creative-first approach and shared commitment to preserving authenticity. Blackheart's Carianne Brinkman highlighted the necessity of this alliance for expanding Jett's legacy while maintaining artistic integrity.
