Amber Waterman Gets Consecutive Life Sentences for Murder

Amber Waterman has been sentenced to two consecutive life sentences without parole for the kidnapping and murder of Ashley Bush and her unborn child in Missouri. Waterman used a fake Facebook profile to lure Bush with the promise of a job opportunity, ultimately kidnapping her and attempting to claim the unborn child as her own. An autopsy revealed that Bush died from penetrating trauma and the baby died in utero. Her husband, Jamie Waterman, was charged as an accessory after the fact and has since changed his plea. Bush's family is calling for further justice, and the Benton County prosecutor plans to pursue the death penalty against Amber Waterman in state court.
