Sha'Carri Richardson avenged her Olympic defeat to Julien Alfred by winning the women's 100m final at the Diamond League meeting in Zurich with a time of 10.84 seconds. Alfred, who took gold in Paris, finished second, while Britain's Dina Asher-Smith came third. In other events, Botswana's Letsile Tebogo won the men's 200m, and Yared Nuguse triumphed in the men's 1500m, narrowly beating Jakob Ingebrigtsen. The meet also saw Kenya's Beatrice Chebet set a world-leading time in the women's 5,000m and Sweden’s Armand Duplantis win the men's pole vault. Grant Holloway broke a record in the 110m hurdles, and Ryan Crouser won the shot put.
