Disney Jr. Unveils Iron Man Preschool Series

Disney Jr. has announced the greenlight for 'Marvel's Iron Man and his Awesome Friends,' a new preschool animated series featuring a young Tony Stark and his friends Riri Williams (Ironheart) and Amadeus Cho (Iron Hulk). Set to premiere in summer 2025 on Disney Jr. and Disney+, the show aims to introduce iconic Marvel characters to a younger audience as part of Disney and Marvel's expanded strategy. The series focuses on the trio's adventures as they use their unique Iron Suits and gadgets to solve problems and protect their city, all while promoting themes of teamwork and creativity. Key figures involved in the production include executive producers Sean Coyle and Harrison Wilcox, alongside Brad Winderbaum from Marvel Studios, who emphasized the importance of Iron Man as a beloved character in the MCU. The series also features a beachfront base called Iron Quarters (IQ) and includes a superpowered android, Vision, and a dog named Gamma, who has her own Iron Pup suit. This project continues the successful trend established by 'Marvel's Spidey and His Amazing Friends,' targeting preschool viewers.
