Missouri Football Rolls Central Arkansas 61-6 Behind Pribula
Beau Pribula made an impressive debut as Missouri’s starting quarterback, leading the Tigers to a dominant 61-6 season-opening victory over Central Arkansas. Pribula completed 23 of 28 passes for 283 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 65 yards and two additional scores, accounting for four total touchdowns. Missouri amassed a total of 560 yards of offense, including a 99-yard touchdown drive and strong performances from receiver Marquis Johnson and running back Ahmad Hardy. Pribula was expected to share playing time with Sam Horn, but Horn suffered a right knee injury on his first play and was sidelined for the rest of the game. The Tigers also saw contributions from true freshman Matt Zollers and defensive standout Dante McClellan, who returned an interception for 83 yards late in the game. Missouri will next host Kansas in their upcoming game, following this emphatic season opener.
