Cessna 310 Crash Near Boca Raton Kills Three

On April 11, 2025, a Cessna 310 crashed shortly after taking off from Boca Raton Airport in Florida, killing all three people aboard. The plane, which was headed to Tallahassee International Airport, experienced mechanical issues soon after takeoff and crashed near Military Trail, approximately a mile from the airport. The crash resulted in a large explosion and fireball, scattering debris across nearby train tracks and roads, and injuring a driver on the ground who swerved to avoid the wreckage. Emergency responders swiftly extinguished the flames, and affected roads and train services were temporarily closed.
