Ashok Leyland has inaugurated its new 'Uptime Solution Centre' in Ernavoor, near Chennai, aimed at improving customer service and vehicle reliability for its BS-VI range of trucks. The facility, equipped with advanced technology and predictive analytics, will operate 24/7 and is staffed by about 70 employees who will provide real-time monitoring and troubleshooting. Ashok Leyland President Sanjeev Kumar highlighted the centre's goal to resolve issues within 20 minutes, maximizing fleet uptime and performance. The initiative integrates over 52,000 touchpoints including dealers and service centers, ensuring effective coordination for quick repairs. This move is part of Ashok Leyland's commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction and technological advancement, according to Managing Director Shenu Agarwal. The Uptime Solution Centre represents a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to redefine customer service in the commercial vehicle sector.
