Bollywood actor Deepak Tijori has filed a fraud complaint against film producer Vikram Khakhar, alleging he was cheated out of nearly ₹1.75 crore for a stalled film project titled 'Tipppsy'. Tijori transferred ₹1.74 crore to Khakhar's company in March 2020, after being assured that the film would be completed in London. However, Tijori claims Khakhar provided excuses for delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ultimately failed to deliver the film or refund the money. Upon investigation, Tijori discovered that no funds had been used for the film, leading him to believe he had been defrauded. The case has been registered under Sections 420 (cheating) and 406 (criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Penal Code, and police are currently searching for Khakhar. The complaint was formally filed on September 17, 2024.
