Salvation Army Distributes Toys to Families in Need

The Salvation Army has been actively distributing toys to families in need across various regions, including Youngstown, Escanaba, Atlantic City, Greenville, and Champaign. In Youngstown, over 800 families participated in the annual toy distribution, supporting more than 1,600 children for Christmas. Escanaba reported a record number of 370 children served this year, reflecting increased community need. The Atlantic City event provided toys to approximately 500 children through its Angel Tree program. In Greenville, more than 1,500 gifts were donated, and families were able to drive up and collect their items. Champaign County's Toy Shop is set to serve 5,000 kids, showcasing the collaborative efforts of volunteers and community donations to ensure children experience joy during the holiday season.
