Nationwide Surge in School Threats by Juveniles

Multiple juveniles have been arrested across the United States for making threats against various schools, primarily through social media platforms. In Paso Robles, California, a 12-year-old was arrested for threatening Lewis Flamson Junior High School via Snapchat, though no credible threat was found. Similarly, a student in Polk County, Texas, and two high school students in Avon Lake, Ohio, were also taken into custody for making threats against their respective schools. In Goodyear, Arizona, a teenager was charged for threatening Estrella Mountain Elementary School online and through text messages. Additionally, a 13-year-old in New Britain, Connecticut, was charged with making threats against a middle school, while a 15-year-old in Nashville was arrested for threatening two high schools via Instagram. These incidents highlight a disturbing trend of school threats being made nationwide, leading to swift law enforcement responses and heightened security measures.
