Noel Gallagher has teamed up with the acid-rock supergroup Mantra of the Cosmos, featuring Shaun Ryder, Bez, Andy Bell, and Zak Starkey, to release the psychedelic single "Domino Bones (Gets Dangerous)," which is now available on streaming platforms after a limited vinyl release. Gallagher describes the track as an eclectic mix inspired by Dylan, Dali, and Ginsberg, emphasizing its cosmic and genre-defying nature. The band celebrated the vinyl release with two shows at Liverpool's Cavern Club, a venue with historical ties to Starkey's father, Ringo Starr. Meanwhile, Starkey is embroiled in uncertainty regarding his status as drummer for The Who, with recent reports indicating he was asked to "retire" from the band amid ongoing disputes. Gallagher is set to begin an Oasis reunion tour in July, with Andy Bell joining on bass, while Starkey will not be part of the touring lineup. Despite Starkey's departure from The Who and absence from the Oasis tour, he remains optimistic about Mantra of the Cosmos' future, hinting at more releases with special guests throughout the year.
