Bethesda Software has released enhanced versions of Doom and Doom II, combining both games into a single package available for $10 or as a free upgrade for existing owners. These versions, launched at QuakeCon 2024, feature 4K resolution and 120 FPS on modern consoles and PCs, cross-platform multiplayer support, and new content including John Romero's 'Sigil' and a new episode 'Legacy of Rust.' The bundle also includes 25 new deathmatch maps and co-op support for up to 16 players. Additionally, the games now support community mods via an in-game browser. The enhanced editions are available on major platforms including Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
