Cunard Plans Royal Canadian Geographical Society Speakers on 2025 Alaska Cruises

Cunard is continuing its partnership with the Royal Canadian Geographical Society (RCGS) for the 2025 Alaska cruise season aboard the newly refurbished Queen Elizabeth, running from June to September. The collaboration features an extensive lineup of expert speakers, including explorers, naturalists, astronauts, and indigenous advocates, who will deliver talks and exclusive programming as part of Cunard's Insights enrichment program. Notable speakers include George Kourounis, a renowned storm chaser and explorer; Laval St. Germain, the only Canadian to summit Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen; and others such as Brian and Dee Keating, Lynn Moorman, and Andrew Fuestel. The program aims to deepen guests' understanding of Alaska's geography, wildlife, indigenous cultures, and natural history, complemented by curated shore excursions and cultural heritage guides. This partnership, now in its third year, enhances the luxurious cruising experience by blending education, adventure, and entertainment tailored specifically to the Alaskan environment.
