2025 Kingdom Day Parade Set for February 17

The 40th Annual Kingdom Day Parade in Los Angeles is set for February 17, celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy under the theme 'Peace And Unity, Let It Start With Us.' This year's event was rescheduled due to wildfires and will coincide with Presidents Day and Black History Month, featuring a vibrant display of marching bands, floats, and performers along Martin Luther King and Crenshaw boulevards. Meanwhile, several St. Patrick's Day parades are being organized across the U.S., including events in Decatur, Illinois, and Crown Point, Indiana, with themes celebrating Irish culture and community involvement. The Crown Point parade on March 17 will feature a lighted nighttime procession and expanded vendor spaces, while Decatur's event will take place on March 15, focusing on local charities. Each parade aims to foster community spirit and cultural appreciation during the festive season. The Claremorris St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Ireland will also celebrate Irish myths and folklore with renowned composer Patrick Cassidy as Grand Marshal.
