Sheffield Teen Killed, Cyclists Hurt in Separate Crashes

A 16-year-old boy, Abdullah Yaser Abdullah Al Yazidi (also known as Abdul), was killed in a suspected hit-and-run while walking to collect a takeaway in Sheffield, after being struck by a grey Audi that also injured an 18-year-old e-bike rider. Police arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of murder and three others for assisting an offender, as the local community mourns Abdul, who had recently moved from Yemen. Separately, a man in his 60s died following a collision involving his electric bicycle and a car in Ludham, Norfolk, and an 81-year-old cyclist remains hospitalized after a crash with a car in Bridlington. Additionally, three people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Suffolk, Virginia. Police in all cases are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage to aid their investigations.
