Two Dead in High-Speed Hillsdale County Motorcycle Crash

A fatal motorcycle crash occurred on Meridian Road in Pittsford Township, Hillsdale County, claiming the lives of a 59-year-old Manitou Beach man and his 60-year-old female passenger from Hudson. The accident happened when the rider attempted to pass another vehicle by crossing the centerline, but swerved to avoid oncoming traffic and lost control, causing the motorcycle to enter a ditch, hit a hole, and overturn, throwing both occupants from the bike.
