Porter Airlines Launches Ottawa-Victoria Route May 15

Porter Airlines will launch a new non-stop route connecting Ottawa and Victoria, British Columbia, starting on May 15, with up to four weekly flights for the summer season. This new service, which marks the airline's 20th non-stop route from Ottawa, complements its existing Toronto-Victoria route and aims to expand travel options for passengers. Andrew Pierce, Porter’s Vice President of Network Planning, highlighted the route's significance as part of their growing network and emphasized the enhanced passenger experience with features like no middle seats and complimentary refreshments. The flights will be operated on Porter’s Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, known for its spacious design. This expansion follows Porter’s recent efforts to increase capacity and services from Ottawa, including new routes to Las Vegas and Fort Lauderdale.
