Russia Warns of Impending Global Conflict

Russian MP Mikhail Sheremet has warned that the world is on the brink of a third world war due to Ukraine's recent incursion into the Kursk region, claiming evidence of foreign military support from NATO. This incursion, which began on August 6, has prompted the evacuation of over 200,000 civilians and is seen as a significant escalation in the conflict. Sheremet highlighted the use of Western military equipment and ammunition in attacks on Russian infrastructure as indicative of a dangerous global situation. Russian presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev echoed these sentiments, accusing NATO and Western intelligence of involvement in planning the operation, although he provided no concrete evidence. Meanwhile, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has reaffirmed his support for Russia in what he described as a
